Kyrgyzstan took part in the 2012 Summer Olympics , which took place in London ( UK ) from July 27 to August 12 , where it was represented by 14 athletes in eight sports. This is the smallest delegation of Kyrgyzstan at the summer games. At the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the flag of Kyrgyzstan was carried by judoka Chingiz Mammadov ^[1] , and at the closing ceremony - weightlifter Bekzat Osmonaliev .

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Kyrgyzstan failed to win a single Olympic medal. The team of Kyrgyzstan at this Olympics was represented by fairly young athletes, most of whom were less than 25 years old.
