Geography, History, Economics
Hertogenbosch is located in the south of the Netherlands, about 80 km southeast of Amsterdam . The total area is 91.26 km². The city is located in a swampy area at the confluence of the Aa and Dommel rivers 6–7 m below sea level. Hertogenbosch is a major railway junction in the country and is connected by the Dutch Railways with most cities in the Netherlands.
The economy of Hertogenbosch is determined by a large number of medium and small industrial and commercial enterprises.
