Biography
Henry Heard Rasby was born in 1855 [1] [2] .
Rasby had a significant influence on facilitating the study of economic botany in the New York Botanical Garden during the first fifty years of its existence [2] . He made a significant contribution to botany by describing many plant species [3] .
He died on November 18, 1940 at the age of 85 years [2] .
