Biography

Alexey Vyacheslavovich Dmitrov was born in Leningrad on March 26, 1973.

After graduating from high school in the city of Polyarny in the Murmansk Region in 1990, Alexei Vyacheslavovich entered the Higher Naval School of Radio Electronics named after A.S. Popov , which he graduated in 1995 .

A. Dmitrov began his military service in 1995 as an engineer in the computing group of the K-154 Tiger radio-technical warhead. Among the graduates of military universities who arrived on the ship, Aleksey Vyacheslavovich was one of the first to pass credits for admission to independent fulfillment of duties in his current position and for admission to duty on the ship.

After graduating from the Higher Officer Classes of the Russian Navy with honors in 2005, A. V. Dmitrov was appointed commander of the submarine. In 2006 and 2009, the submarines commanded by Alexey Vyacheslavovich became the best in the Russian Navy .

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 187 dated February 15, 2012, for the courage and dedication shown in the performance of official duties, Captain 1st Rank Dmitriy Aleksey Vyacheslavovich was awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the Golden Star medal.

February 22, 2012 in the Catherine’s Hall of the Moscow Kremlin in a festive atmosphere, the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev presented Alexey Vyacheslavovich Dmitrov with the “Golden Star” of the Hero of the Russian Federation.
