Nikolai Vsevolodovich Kotrelev ( February 21, 1941 , Moscow ) - Russian poet, philologist, Italian translator, historian of Russian philosophy and literature of the “ Silver Age ” ( Vl. Soloviev , Al. Blok , Vyach. Ivanov ).

Biography
He graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow State University (1960-1968). As a poet published in the samizdat almanac of A. Ginzburg Syntaxis ( 1960 ), the Tamizdat magazine Grani (1965). He was friends with Vl. Muravyov , L. Turchinsky , with many poets and underground artists ( Vadim Kozova , Thomas Wentslova , Vladimir Yakovlev , Vladimir Pyatnitsky and others). He translated and commented on translations of Italian and Catalan poets ( Eugenio Montale , Salvador Espriou and others), books on the history of art. He worked at the VGBIL (1967-1988), in 1980 - 1988 he was in charge of the rare book department there. From 1988, he was an employee of IMLI , from 1990 to 2009, he was the head of the Department of Literary Inheritance , and now he is a senior researcher.
Teaching
In the 1990s, he taught at the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (1991-1994), at a number of Italian universities, at the Orthodox St. Tikhon Humanitarian University (2000-2003), and was a visiting professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (2003).
