Korogly Ismail oglu Rahimov ( azerb. Rəhimov Koroğlu İsmayıl oğlu ; October 31, 1953 , village Khachmaz, Vartashensky district, Azerbaijan SSR - July 3, 1992 , near Mardakert (Agdere) in Nagorno-Karabakh ) - Azerbaijani military leader, participant in the Karabakh war hero of Azerbaijan.

Biography
Korogly Ismail oglu Ragimov was born on October 31, 1953 in the village of Khachmaz in the Vartashensky district . In the first grade I went to the school of the village of Yagublu, later the Ragimov family moved to the village of Sarydzhalli, Zangibasar district, Armenian SSR [1] .
In 1969 he entered the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry , the faculty of auto mechanics. In 1972 he was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet army. After completing military service in the GDR in 1974, he continued his education. In 1992 , after the outbreak of the Karabakh war , Korogly Rahimov volunteered to join the ranks of the National Army of Azerbaijan . [2]
He fought in battles for the villages of Buzlug, Chartaz and Erkiaj of the Geranboy region. July 3, 1992 Korogly Rahimov died in the battle near Mardakert (Agdere). On September 16, 1994, Ragimov Koroglu Ismail oglu was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan [1] .
At the time of his death he was married. Had three children [1] .
Memory
- Korogly Ismail oglu Rahimov was buried in Baku on the Alley of Martyrs [1] .
- One of the streets of Narimanov district of Baku bears his name. Also here is a bust of the hero [1] .
- The kindergarten in the village of Khachmaz in the Oguz region bears the name of Ragimov [1] .
