The length of the river is 103 km. The catchment area is 1590 km² [3] . It flows through the territory of the Sobolevsky district of the Kamchatka Territory [4] . It falls into the Sea of Okhotsk .
The hydronym is probably of Itelmen origin [5] .
The drainage basin of the river in the north borders with the basin of the Bolshaya Vorovskaya river, and in the south with the basin of the Unushka river [6] .
