Buribaevsky mining and processing plant

Buribaevsky mining and processing plant (abbreviated name: JSC "Buribaevsky GOK" ) is an enterprise located in the village of Buribay, Khaibullinsky district of Bashkortostan . It carries out the extraction and concentration of ores of copper pyrites , and the extraction of gold and silver .

History

In 1930, a gold mine was founded.

In 1942, the Buribaevskoye mine administration was created on the basis of the mine.

Since 1995 - Open Joint Stock Company "Buribaevskoye Ore Mining", and since 1996 - CJSC. Since 2000 it has a modern name.

Since 2004, the Buribaevsky GOK as part of the raw material complex of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company .

In 2007, the processing plant underwent reconstruction. The fleet department fleet was completely updated, a new battery bunker with a capacity of two thousand tons was put into operation [1] .

Description

The enterprise includes the following production sites:

  • Oktyabrsky underground mine (in operation since 1976),
  • processing plant (founded in 1936),
  • transport department
  • mechanical repair shop,
  • repair and construction site,
  • chemical laboratory
  • energy workshop
  • technical control department.

The raw material bases of the enterprise are Buribaevskoe , Makanskoe and Oktyabrskoe copper-pyrite deposits. The latter is located in the eastern part of the Buribaevsky ore district, and its balance reserves amount to 10 million tons of ore.

Commercial products produced by the plant:

  • copper concentrate (grade of concentrate KM-5, corresponds to GOST R 52998 from 2008; mass fraction of copper not less than 20%)
  • zinc concentrate (grade of concentrate KTs-4, corresponds to TU 48-6-117-90, mass fraction of zinc is not less than 47%)

In April 2013, the extraction of copper ore amounted to 20.7 thousand tons, the processing of copper ore - 20.9 thousand tons.
