Qingdao-Taiyuan high-speed passenger line ( Chinese trade. 青 太 客運 專線 , also called the Qingtai express line) is a large-scale project for organizing direct trains between the largest cities of China and provincial centers, connecting the large city of Qingdao , the capital of Shandong province, Jinan , the capital of Hebei is Shijiazhuang and the capital of Shanxi is Taiyuan .

General information
The Qingdao - Taiyuan Railway consists of three sections, of which the middle is not yet built. A road with a length of 870 km is designed for a speed of 250 km / h.
The project is part of a global project to build a network of high-speed railways in China , the main part of which corresponds to the 4 + 4 formula - four high-speed lines from north to south, and four from east to west.
Track Structure
- Qingdao - Jinan High Speed Railway (362 km). Construction of the road began on January 28, 2007 and was put into operation on December 21, 2008.
- High Speed Railway Jinan - Shijiazhuang (319 km). Construction started in 2009. The commissioning date is presumably October 2015. [one]
- Shijiazhuang - Taiyuan High Speed Railway (189 km). Construction of the road began on June 21, 2005. It was put into operation on April 1, 2009.
Compenria
In Jinan, the transition to the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is provided.
In Shijiazhuang , the transition to the Beijing-Hong Kong high-speed railway is provided, sections of which are due to be launched in 2012.
