The station is located on a three-track section of the line and is represented by two island platforms. For external traffic, only external (local) routes are used - the central express route has not been used since 1976 : just then, due to numerous complaints, express communication via the line was stopped. The station has a canopy throughout the platforms.
The station has two exits. Each of them is represented by an elevated mezzanine under the platforms, where the turnstile pavilion and numerous stairs are located. Between the platforms there is a free passage (through the mezzanine). Only the exit located in the northern part of the platforms is open around the clock. It leads to the southern corners of the intersection of 18th Avenue with MacDonald Ave. The second exit is presented only by full-height turnstiles and leads to MacDonald Avenue between Lawrence and Parkville Avenue .
There are exits between the tracks north of the station that are not used for route traffic. In addition, this station was captured in two fairly well-known American films: Double KOPets with Bruce Willis and Remember Me with Robert Pattinson .
