The coat of arms was approved by Decision No. 52 of the Alkeevsky District Council on June 1, 2006 . [one]
The coat of arms is entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation under registration number 2382 and in the State Heraldic Register of the Republic of Tatarstan under No. 58.
Emblem Description
“In the azure field, four times dressed in gold, silver, greenery and scarlet, there is a Tatar horseman galloping on a silver horse in a helmet, chain mail and robe of the same metal and in black boots, wearing a gold quiver to the left of the saddle, decorated with silver and full of arrows, and round shield, and behind the golden bow; in his right hand the horseman holds a golden spear in the band, ending with gold in the end, with a green two-pigtail badge; the horse has a scarlet decoration with gold ornaments; saddle scarlet, blanket - purple with gold fringe; golden stirrups on black belts. "
Coat of Arms
The ancient Alkeev land is rich in historical traditions. Its territory was one of the centers of the state of the Volga Bulgarians - the ancestors of modern Tatars.
According to popular legend, the region received its name from the Bulgarian Alp-Batyr, as evidenced by the image of the rider in the coat of arms.
Alkeev land is traditionally an agricultural area. Four fields of the coat of arms - green, gold, red and silver allegorically show the agricultural cycle based on the change of seasons.
Gold in heraldry is a symbol of harvest, abundance, stability, respect and intelligence.
Silver in heraldry is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding.
The scarlet color is a symbol of labor, strength, courage, beauty.
Azure is a symbol of honor, nobility, spirituality.
Green color symbolizes nature, health, life growth.
Purple - the color of fame, honor and greatness
Black color is a symbol of wisdom, modesty, eternity of being.

The emblem was developed by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Union of Heraldists of Russia , consisting of:
Ramil Khayrutdinov (Kazan), Radik Salikhov (Kazan), Ilnur Minnullin (Kazan), Konstantin Mochenov (Khimki), Kirill Perehodenko (Konakovo), Galina Rusanova (Moscow); with the participation of Ferdinat Davletshin (Alkeevsky district), Yusuf Zaripov (Alkeevsky district), Radik Mingazov (Chistopol).
