Ninel Leonidovna Garkusha ( June 26, 1927 , Kamenets-Podolsky - April 1, 2006 , Kiev ) - Ukrainian artist of decorative art. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1964).

Content

Biography

She graduated in 1952 from the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (teachers F. Voloshko , F. Mishukov ).

Since 1952 - Researcher at the Institute of Monumental Art of the Academy of Architecture of the Ukrainian SSR.

In 1963–1983 - senior sculptor, group leader, chief specialist of the department, head of the laboratory of monumental and decorative arts of the Zonal Research Institute of Model and Experimental Design (Kiev).

In 1984-1991 - in the monumental workshop of the Kiev plant of monumental and decorative art.

Since 1991 - a teacher of Kiev secondary school number 94.

The main works are in the field of monumental-decorative sculpture and decorative art ( art ceramics , embossing ).

Since 1963 - a member of the All-Ukrainian art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions were held in 1975 in Chernigov and in 2005 in Kiev .

Works are kept in the Kamyanets-Podilsky Historical Museum-Reserve.

Husband - Nikolai Stepanovich Kolomiets , architect , artist and art historian.

  • The decorative decoration of the library of the Palace of Culture in the city of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region (1953) - a portrait of Taras Shevchenko , the composition “Katerina” and “Gaydamaki”, the metro station “ Svyatoshyn ” in Kiev (1971).
  • Bas-reliefs
    • For the Palace of Culture of the Kremenchug Hydroelectric Power Station (1959);
    • "Gopak" and "Music" in the cinema "Ukraine" in the city of Kiev (1965).
  • Monument of Glory in the city of Krivoy Rog (1967, in collaboration) .
  • Mural
    • "Energy" on the building of the organizational center in the town of Ukrainka, Kiev region (1970).
    • "Chernobyl" on the building of the hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kiev (1994).
