Loksa district is an administrative-territorial unit within the Estonian SSR that existed in 1950-1957. Center - the village of Loksa . The area of the district in 1955 was 979.1 km².

Content
History
According to the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Estonian SSR , the Loksa district was formed in 1950 , when the district division in the Estonian SSR was replaced by the district [1] . In 1952, the district was included in the Tallinn region , but already in April 1953, as a result of the abolition of regions in the Estonian SSR, the region was returned to republican subordination.
In 1957, the Loksa district was abolished.
Administrative Division
In 1955, the district included 1 workers' settlement ( Loksa ) and 6 village councils: Vihula (center - Paasi ), Vysusky, Kolga (center - Kahala ), Kuusalu, Kannu, Loksa [2] .
