year 2000. Paragon Software releases the first dictionary software engine for Palm OS . The dictionary, called Slovoed, allows you to fully translate many thousands of language units using a handheld device.

year 2001. Slovoed Dictionary receives its first award from Pocket PC Magazine, becoming a finalist in the "Best Product of 2001" nomination.

2002 year. Slovoed is adapted for Pocket PC and Symbian OS platforms . All Sony Ericsson devices are distributed in Europe with pre-installed Slovoed dictionaries.

2003 year. Slovoed dictionaries support more than 100 language pairs based on vocabulary databases from leading world linguistic companies. Slovoed for Pocket PC is the first and only dictionary program to successfully pass the test in accordance with Microsoft for Pocket PC 2002 certification. As part of a joint project with the American publisher Merriam-Webster, Paragon Software is creating the world's only electronic version of the Merriam-Webster dictionaries for mobile devices, based on the Slovoed core and under the publisher’s brand. Pocket LOOX PDAs from Fujitsu-Siemens are distributed with the complete Paragon Software localization package, including Slovoed dictionaries. At the Nokia press conference in Helsinki, Slovoed dictionaries are announced as the first software applications developed for the Nokia 6600. ^[1]

2005 year. Windows Mobile devices from Asus , Samsung , MiTAC , HP , E-TEN , Fujitsu-Siemens and other companies are distributed with Slovoed dictionaries including 150 language pairs and more than 1 million translations.

2006 year. The development of Slovoed dictionaries for Java and desktop computers running the Windows and Mac OS operating systems begins.

2007 year Slovoed dictionaries are updated with Oxford , DUDEN , PONS and Harrap dictionaries. 100 thousand flagship models of smartphones Sony Ericsson are equipped with Slovoed dictionaries. ^[2]

2015 year. The Oxford Learner's Dictionary of Academic English (OLDAE) is being published in collaboration with Oxford University Press, a British publisher.

The Oxford Learner's Dictionary of Academic English (OLDAE) - the print edition, CD version and iOS application - received the ELTon award from the British Council on June 4 in London in the category “Innovation in Learning” ^[4] .

The Slovoed Deluxe dictionary update for the new iOS 9 operating system has been released. It is now possible to use Spotlight on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch.

A Russian - English physics dictionary for Android and Mac OS devices is being released. The dictionary contains about 76,000 terms in all areas of modern physics, fundamental and latest.

2016 year. Paragon Software releases a large-scale update of Slovoed applications for iOS and Android ^[5] : an improved full-text search algorithm, PenReader handwriting recognition . The update provided full support for the new multitasking features in iOS 9, including Slide Over, Split View and the ability to search and translate words from third-party applications. In 2013, Paragon Software released the Slovoed Dictionaries app for iOS devices . The application is a modernized vocabulary shell, which initially provides free limited access to most company dictionaries available for the iOS platform. Users are given the opportunity to test for free any of the available dictionaries and make a conscious purchase based on their own feelings, and not focusing solely on screenshots , as it was before. After making a purchase, the dictionary is automatically integrated into the application, which provides further opportunities for working with the dictionary. The functionality of the Slovoed Dictionaries application is completely identical to the functionality of individual Slovoed dictionaries. All Slovoed dictionaries are equipped with additional features for learning languages. To memorize new words, the classic “Card Test” is provided, and the built-in game Slovoed Spelling helps to remember the correct spelling, as well as to develop the perception of foreign speech by ear.
