It is part of the Gulinsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Kukshevsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Belozersk by road is 33 km, to the center of the municipal formation of the village of Nikonovskaya in a straight line - 15 km. The nearest settlements are Vozdvizhenie , Moskvino , Pershkovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 6 people [2] .
