It is part of the Antushevsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Antushevsky village council.
Located on the P6 highway, on the banks of the Cherzhi River. The distance by road to the regional center of Belozersk is 23 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Antushevo - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Bereznik , Paltsevo , Perkhovta .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 55 people (27 men, 28 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
