It is part of the Glushkovsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Glushkovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Belozersk is 15 km, to the center of the municipal formation of the village of Glushkovo - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Bolshaya Krasnova , Malny Krasnova , Filino , Fokino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 52 people (25 men, 27 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (96%) [2] .
