Anopheles claviger (lat.) Is a type of malaria mosquito belonging to the Anopheles claviger complex [2] in the Anopheles series of the Angusticorn section. Distributed in Europe , as well as in Armenia , Azerbaijan , Afghanistan , Georgia , Israel , Iran , Iraq , Jordan , Kyrgyzstan , Lebanon , Pakistan , Russia , Syria , Tajikistan , Turkmenistan , and Uzbekistan [1] . Carrier of malarial plasmodia ; Malaria infection from female bites was noted in the Middle East , and was not recorded in Europe [1] .
