History
During Soviet times
The enterprise was founded in the USSR in 1935 on the basis of private harmonious workshops united in artels . In the first year of work, 417 harmonies were released. In the 1960s, new models of manual harmonics were developed and put into production at the Shuya Harmonious Factory. The factory participated in international exhibitions and fairs in Austria, Hungary, Syria, Turkey, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, and Japan. Harmonies were exported to Greece, Mongolia, Syria, Yugoslavia and other countries [1] .
Modern history
In the 1990s, the demand for musical instruments fell sharply, and the company, like many others, had to find a way out in a difficult economic situation. For this, additional production of children's furniture for preschool institutions was established. Part of the production area of the factory is also occupied by sewing bed linen [2] .
In 2003, the production of harmonies was less than 50% of the total volume of goods produced at the enterprise [2] .
In 2006, Shuiskaya Harmon produced 150 harmonies per month, for comparison: in the years of the USSR, the factory produced up to 4,500 harmonies per month. In the manufacture of musical instruments employed about 40 people. Established constant communication with customers from Germany [1] .
In 2010 [3] —2011 [4] , the factory produced 80-100 harmonics per month.
