It is part of the Vizmensky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Vizmensky village council.
Located on the right bank of the Vizma River . The distance by road to the regional center of Belozersk is 57 km, to the center of the municipal formation of the village of Klimshin Bor - 5 km. The nearest settlements - High Mountain , Klimshin Bor , Pronevo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 263 people (114 men, 149 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (99%) [2] .
