Geography
Located on the southern shore of Lake Bolshoi [3] . The district center is 200 km from the regional center ( Ust-Kamenogorsk ), the distance to the nearest railway is 25 km.
History
The village of Borodulikha was formed in the second half of the XIX century . According to the administrative division, Borodulikha belonged to the Zmeinogorsk district of the Tomsk province and was a volost center. However, economically, the village gravitated toward Semipalatinsk rather than Zmeinogorsk [4] . Before the revolution, a temple existed in Borodulikha, in Soviet times it was destroyed. Currently, St. Nicholas Parish operates, a new church is built.
In 1944, the Borodulikhinsky district was organized with a center in the village of Borodulikha [4] .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 6122 people (2991 men and 3131 women) [5] . According to the 2009 census , 5,226 people lived in the village (2,465 men and 2,761 women) [5] .
As of January 1, 2016, the population of the village was 4,515 people (2,132 men and 2,383 women) [1] .
Famous Natives
Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Seredin was born in the village.
