Shibria is a traditional dagger of the Bedouins that inhabit the deserts of Jordan , the neighboring lands of Israel , Syria , Saudi Arabia . [one]
It features a characteristic double-bend blade, although specimens with a single bend are found. [one]
Currently worn by the Bedouin police in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Distributed in Palestine, Jordan and, in part, Saudi Arabia. It goes back to the Islamic period. Used by the Bedouins. Blade with a bevel butt, often has a characteristic S-shaped ("scimitar") shape of the cutting edge. The scabbard is most often made of wood and coated with sheet metal. [one]
