Biography

Career

In 1990–1997, he played 243 matches with KAMAZ and scored 14 goals (the record holder for the number of matches in the Russian Premier League for KAMAZ was 151 matches out of 162 matches of KAMAZ). Member of the UEFA Intertoto Cup 1996 (6 matches, 2 goals). In July 1993 and August 1995, he played in the student national team of Russia (formed from KAMAZ players) at the Summer Universiades in the USA (5 matches, 2 goals) [2] and Japan (6 matches) , won a bronze medal in Fukuoka [3] . After the completion of his playing career, he worked, including as head coach, at Neftekhimik and KAMAZ. He brought KAMAZ to the FNL in the season 2014/2015 (1st place in the Ural-Volga region).

Personal life

Son Vladimir Klontsak (born in 1994) is a football player. He plays in KAMAZ in the defense line.
