Ethnic Story
Historical and ethnographic information relating to the Uranus tribe is close to Duvan . Both tribes have a tamga of general type, which is well known to all three Duvan groups ( Ailinsk , Tabyn , and Duvane ). According to shezhere from the Uranian village of Karmanovo , one of the ancestors of the Uranus is Duvan-Sakal (Dyuan-Sakal). Also, Duvani and Uranus are mentioned by Rashid ad-Din as Urat (Uruta) and Durban tribes among the Mongolian or Turkic-Mongolian “nationalities”, originating from the marriage of the legendary Dobun-Bayan and Alan-Goa .
Initially, together with the ancient Bashkir tribes, they settled in the Syr Darya steppes and the Aral Sea region . After the departure of part of the ancient Bashkir tribes farther west, Duvan-Uranian formations remained in the Asian steppes for several centuries, having survived many stages of ethnic transformation, until at the beginning of the second millennium they fell alternately into the sphere of Kara-Chinese, Tabynsk and Kipchak ethnopolitical influence. Part of the Uranians migrated along with the Oghuz (Seljuk Turks). According to Eastern authors, the uranium tribe was a khan of Kanglin khanate. The genus Albur was a Khan tribe in the uranium tribe. After the defeat of the Mongols, along with other Kangles fled north to the Bashkirs.
According to the legends of the Uranians, their ancestors arrived from the Orenburg side to the present patrimonies, migrating first on the Miass river and returning from there to the valley of the Belaya River (Agidel) . The ethnonym of the tribe was preserved in hydronims as the name of the rivers Big Uran and Small Uran (tributaries of Samara ), and in the XVIII century near the town of Miass the two lakes were called “Uranga” and “Urangich” [1] .
Resettlement
According to the general survey of the lands of the beginning of the XIX century, 76429 desyatin lands were in the possession of the Bashkirs of the Urani parish, including arable land occupied 13485, haying places - 4765, forests - 58089, uncomfortable lands - 503 tithes [2] .
A Uranian by the name of Aizuak , who allegedly went skiing to Kazan and Moscow, was known, from where he brought a birch bark of acceptance for Russian citizenship. After accession, the territory of the Urani parish became a rapidly colonized region of Bashkortostan. The Uranus parish was divided into the Amza, Timbay, Taragul, Merdyash, Izakty, Yanboris, Sapai, Mangul, Kutlamysh, Yuzberdy, and other land tube tubes.
A document from 1685 has survived, which tells about the fate of several Bashkir-Uranians, brought to the tragic finale by one fiscal — a financial and judicial official of Ufa, as referred to in the petition of Abdullah Smailov:
“Last year, with 7 years, his father, Ufa district of the Osinskaya road of the Urani parish, Smail Kanzibaev, was expelled from Ufa district to Ufa by Ufa foreigner Semyon Kirilov, who was in the district with his subordinate fiscal, and from Ufa sent to Moscow to the Transfiguration order ... And In another year, by order of the Preobrazhensky District, an order was taken to Moscow by the same order, and upon returning from Moscow, he brought with him to Ufa for the recovery of his losses on him and on his brother Evo Burangule, who had committed losses to him in the case of his father their; and their father was exiled to the galley work in the case, and there both die, and, by that decree, for the suit of Kirilov’s court, the yard and the belongings of the father of Evo were sealed and sold, and the money was given to him to Kirilov; how much money was given to him, but he is not known to Tom, and, moreover, Kirilov is looking for 156 rubles on him and on his brother Evo.
