It is part of the Sholsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Sholsky village council.

Located on the right bank of the Shola River . The distance by road to the district center of Belozersk is 101 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Zubovo - 3 km. The nearest settlements are Verkhovye , Gavrino , Esino , Mitino .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 20 people (10 men, 10 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
