It is a part of the Sholsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Sholsky village council (until March 17, 2000 it was a member of the Sotozersky village council) [2] .
The distance to the district center of Belozersk on the highway is 138 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Zubovo in a straight line - 28 km. The nearest town is Konovalovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no resident population [3] .
