It is part of the Sholsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Sholsky village council.

The distance by road to the regional center of Belozersk is 104 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Zubovo - 1 km. The nearest settlements are Verkhovye , Gavrino , Zubovo , Mitino , Smolino .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 31 people (12 men, 19 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [2] .
