Svappavaara ( Swede. Svappavaara ) - a settlement in the north of Sweden . It is located in Kiruna Lena Norrbotten , 48 km east of the city of Kiruna along the E10 road. According to 2010 data, the population is 417 people [2] .

Economy
Svappavara developed as a mining village. Although the iron ore mine was closed as far back as 1983, ore is still being enriched from the mine in Kiruna. The mine is owned by the Swedish mining company LKAB . A dead end railway line from the Malmbanan highway approaches the city.
