Fred Etcher ( born Fred Etcher , August 23, 1932 , Oshawa , Ontario , Canada - November 25, 2011 , London , Ontario , Canada ) - Canadian hockey player, silver medalist at the Winter Olympic Games in Squaw Valley (1960).

Career
From 1948 he began to play hockey in the junior team in his hometown of Oshawa.
- 1950-1953 - performed at the Oshawa Generals Club of Ontario,
- 1954-1960 - played for Whitby Dunlops, with whom he twice won the main hockey prize of amateur teams - Allan Cup,
- 1960 - in the national team wins silver medals of the Winter Olympic Games in Squaw Valley , scoring nine goals in seven games and making 12 assists, and becoming the team's top scorer,
- 1961-1962 - played for the amateur club Uxbridge, playing in the hockey league of the province of Ontario.
