Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra (NUSO) - The Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Young Talents of Siberia Foundation . The Youth Symphony Orchestra is a laureate of the “Children and the City” Prize of the Novosibirsk City Hall [1] , and its leader V. Yankovsky was awarded the title of Knight of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, 2nd Class. The team has done a great job, and it rightfully took its rightful place among professional musical groups in Novosibirsk [2] . Over 200 young talented musicians studying in various educational institutions of the city gained invaluable experience in orchestral performance; more than 250 participants of the youth symphony orchestra of different years have now joined the leading musical groups of Novosibirsk, Moscow , St. Petersburg , and a number of foreign countries.

Creation History
The Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra was created and began its activity in August 1996. At present, the orchestra unites about 80 young musicians aged 12 to 20 years. The basis of the orchestra is made by students of the NSMSh (college) . The creation of the orchestra was due [3] to the significant creative potential of Novosibirsk musical educational institutions, which train young musicians in various specialties, as well as the presence of high-class musicians in the city who are able to lead the team and determine the prospects for its development.
Among the members of the orchestra there are many laureates and diplomats of various performing contests - international, all-Russian, regional. Until 2016, the team of young musicians was headed by the art director, musician and teacher, accompanist of the clarinet group of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra, Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Yankovsky , whose dedication, talent and professionalism were the basis of the creative work of the collective. After the death of the founder and chief conductor V. Ya. Yankovsky in June 2016, the orchestra was given his name, and Eldar Nagiyev became the head of the group.

Along with the artistic director and chief conductor , Honored Artist of Russia V. Yankovsky, the People's Artist of the USSR , State Prize Laureate, Professor Arnold Katz , Honored Artist of Russia, Artistic Director of the Vocal Ensemble P. Sharomov, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia E. worked with the Youth Symphony Orchestra. Levin, a professor of the Marseilles Conservatory L. Canavese ( France ), conductor of the Youth Symphony orchestra of the Federal State of Saarland Mr. Bäumer ( Germany ), professor Lee Jae-jung ( Re of Korea ), People's Artist of Russia, laureate of the State Prize, Professor F. Mansurov . Of great importance for the orchestra is the professional assistance of musicians of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra.
The soloists with the Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra were: People's Artist of the USSR , Laureate of the State Prize of Russia , Professor N. Petrov ( piano ), accompanist of the Hamburg State Symphony Orchestra, professor of the Higher School of Music of Hamburg ( Germany ) A. Barakhovsky ( violin ), laureate of international competitions, soloist of the State Chamber Orchestra " Moscow Virtuosi ", professor of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky A. Utkin ( oboe ) and others. Joint performances of the Youth Symphony Orchestra with the leading groups of Novosibirsk - the vocal ensemble of Pavel Sharomov, the choir ensemble " Markel Voices " (conductor Igor Tyuvaev), the chamber philharmonic choir (artistic director - people's artist of Russia Igor Yudin), and students of Novosibirsk State College .
Repertoire
The orchestra’s repertoire includes the following compositions: V. Mozart Symphony No. 8 and Requiem , L. Beethoven Symphony No. 1, F. Schubert Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished”, D. Shostakovich Symphony No. 9, E. Grieg Piano Concerto, P. Tchaikovsky Concerts for violin and piano and orchestra, Overture-fantasy "Romeo and Juliet", overture by J. Rossini , works by A. Vivaldi , T. Albinoni , J. Bizet , C. Saint-Saens , R. Wagner , M. Glinka During its existence, the orchestra prepared and performed many programs, including the works of J. Haydn , F. Mendelssohn , M. Mussorgsky , V. Kalinnikov , G. Sviridov , A. Khachaturian and other composers .
Speeches
Concerts of the orchestra with constant success are held in the leading concert halls of Novosibirsk - the Bolshoi and Chamber Halls of the Philharmonic Hall, the House of Scientists of the SB RAS , the Bolshoi and Concert Halls of the NGATOB , the Grand Hall of the NGK (Academy) named after M.I. Glinka , and the leading concert halls of Siberian cities - Tomsk , Omsk , Berdsk , Kemerovo . The Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra is a regular participant of the International Christmas Art Festivals held in Novosibirsk and the subscription concerts of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic. The orchestra performed in a gala concert of the All-Russian celebration of the Days of Slavic Writing and Culture in Novosibirsk, the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, in joint concerts with the Russian-American Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Federal State of Saarland ( Germany ). He is the winner of the Grand Prix of the International Festival of Young Wind Performers, winner of the first prizes of the VI International Competition for Young Musicians-Performers “Musical Vladivostok-2010” and the V Open All-Russian Competition of Performers named after A. Alyabyev. Performances of the orchestra were recorded and broadcast on television. Several DVDs and CDs with recordings of compositions performed by the Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra have been released.
