Coreopsis petrophiloides is a perennial herbaceous plant 70–90 cm high. The stem is smooth.
Leaves sessile or petiolate 4-9 cm, petioles 2 cm long. Topy pubescent, smooth below.
Flowers are yellow 1.5–2.5 cm in diameter and 8–10 mm thick, peduncle 2–6 cm. [2]
Habitat and habitat
It grows in the central regions of Mexico . It is found on rocky slopes.
