The village is located on the right bank of the Mshagi , south of the village of Kostkovo , at an altitude of 23 m above sea level [3] , in western Priilmeni .
History
The population of the village according to the census of 1926 is 262 people. Veshka until August 1927 - the village of the Medvedsky parish of the Novgorod district of the Novgorod province , then, after the abolition of the Novgorod province, as part of the Nizhnepriyhonsky village council of the newly formed Medvedsky district of the Novgorod district of the Leningrad region . July 30, 1930 Novgorod district was abolished. In accordance with the decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of September 20, 1931, the Medvedsky District was also abolished from September 1935 to the village as part of the Nizhneprikhonsky Village Council of the Novgorod District of the Leningrad Region, from January 1932 to February 1935 as part of the Soletsky District of the former Village Council, then as part of the Nizhneprihonsky Village Council the newly formed Shimsky district of the Leningrad region. The population of Landmarks in 1940 was 152 people. During the Great Patriotic War , from August 1941 to February 1944, the village was occupied by the Nazi troops. From June 30, 1944, the Shimsky District as part of the newly formed Novgorod Region. [four]
