The monument to Prince Vorontsovo is a monument to M.S. Vorontsov , the Novorossiysk and Bessarabian Governor-General , erected on Cathedral Square in Odessa in 1863. The second monument of Odessa [1] .

History
The monumental bronze lightest prince is presented dressed in a mantle with a field marshal's baton in his hand. The sculpture of the prince is placed on a quadrangular pedestal made of Crimean diorite . On the front side of the monument there is the following inscription on the pedestal: “To His Gracious Prince Mikhail Semenovich Vorontsov, grateful compatriots. 1863. ”On the back side:“ To the Governor-General of the Novorossiysk Territory and Bessarabia 1823-1854. ”, On the other two sides there are bas-relief images of the battle of Kraon and the capture of Varna with the inscriptions“ Kraon 1814. ”and“ Varna 1828. ” [1] .
