Tropto [2] - a river on the island of Sakhalin , flows along the Okha isthmus [3] . The length of the river (with the Great Troptun) is 33 km. Its catchment area is 125 km² [4] .

It begins at the confluence of the rivers Big and Small Troptun at an altitude of 21.9 meters above sea level [3] . It flows in a general south direction through a spruce-larch forest [3] . The lower half of the valley is swampy. The width of the river near the mouth is 34 meters, the depth is 0.7 meters, the water flow rate is 1.2 m / s [3] . It falls into the Gulf of Tropto (Tront) of the Sea of Okhotsk . It flows through the territory of the Okhotsk city district of the Sakhalin region [5] .
