The F-22P frigates - a joint project of Pakistan and the PRC , developed on the basis of the Chinese frigate class 053H3 , also called frigates of URO class "Zulfikar".

The most powerful ships of the Pakistan Navy, all 4 ships of the series were built in the period from 2006 to 2013 . On September 3, 2013, the fourth frigate "Aslat" entered the Pakistan Navy .
