It begins on the eastern slope of Belukha Mountain, which belongs to the Central Range [4] . It flows in a general east direction along mountainous terrain covered with fir-birch forest. In the lower reaches to the plain, here birch and fir are replaced by larch [5] . It falls into the Sea of ​​Okhotsk . The width of the river near the mouth is 28 meters, the depth is 0.5 meters, the flow velocity is 1.2 m / s [5] .
