It begins to the west of Mount Lagernaya, which is part of the Central Range. It flows in the general northeastern direction through the larch-birch forest [4] . It falls into the Sea of ​​Okhotsk north of Cape Rymnik. The width of the river near the mouth is 30 meters, the depth is 1 meter, and the flow velocity is 0.9 m / s [4] .

It flows through the territory of the Smirnykhovsky urban district of the Sakhalin region [5] .
