Shurahan is a village in Uzbekistan . Located in the eastern part of Turtkul on the right bank of the Amu Darya .

The city of Shurahan was supposedly founded in Kushan time. It was a large settlement on the way from Bukhara to Khorezm . The city had a crossing [1] .
In ancient times, there was the fortress of Shurahan-kala. Now in this fortress is a working cemetery. Previously, the city of Petro Aleksandrovsk was located near the fortress.
