Kamaev, Valery Anatolyevich

In 1962 he graduated from the Bryansk Institute of Transport Engineering (BITM) with a degree in locomotive engineering.

From 1962 to 1967 he worked in the department of the chief locomotive designer of the Bryansk Engineering Plant.

In 1967 he defended his thesis and then worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, assistant professor, head of the department of "Higher Mathematics". In 1982, he defended his doctoral dissertation and in 1985 received the title of professor.

Since 1984, he worked at the Volgograd Polytechnic Institute (VPI) as vice-rector for scientific work. Since 1990, he worked as the head of the Department of Computer-Aided Design and Search Engine Design Systems at VPI. In October 2015, he was relieved of his post.

He prepared 6 doctors and 44 candidates of sciences.

Main research areas: conceptual design of technical and organizational systems, vibration effects, modeling .
