Miltiadis Papaioannou ( Greek Μιλτιάδης Παπαϊωάννου , 1947) - Greek politician, member of the PASOK party . In 2011 - 2012 , he was the acting Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights of Greece .

Biographical information
Born in the village of Likuria, near Kalavryta, Mr. Achaya . He studied law and worked as a lawyer. He has been a member of PASOK since the founding of the party. First elected to the Greek Parliament in 1981 . He was reelected with the exception of 1989 , 1993 and 2007 .
He served in the following posts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Greece : Deputy Minister of the Interior ( 1982 ), Minister of Justice ( 1985 ), Deputy Prime Minister and Press Secretary of the Government ( 1986 ), Secretary General of the Ministry of National Economy ( 1993 ), Minister of Labor and Social Protection ( 1996 ), Minister of State ( 2000 ).
