Career
A pupil of the Youth Sports School of the city of Gorlovka, the first coach was A.P. Maltsev. In 1981, he spent 10 matches for Ugolok . From 1982 to 1984 he played for Vostok , scoring 12 goals in 61 meetings. In 1984 he was part of Kairat , but did not enter the field.
From 1985 to 1986 he defended the colors of Tselinnik , scored 20 goals in 54 matches. In 1987 he again played for the club from Gorlovka, now called the “Miner”, in 30 matches he scored 15 goals. Then, from 1987 to 1988, he played for Voroshilovgrad Zarya , held 62 meetings and scored 16 goals. In the 1989 season, he played for Kuban , scored 5 goals in 30 championship matches [1] , and played 1 more match in the USSR Cup [2] .
In 1990 he defended the colors of Dynamo Stavropol, scored 7 goals in 24 matches. He spent the 1991 season at Kairat, played 33 meetings and scored 10 goals.
