Biography
Born May 15, 1974 in the city of Tiraspol , MSSR , USSR in a family of employees.
Education
- She graduated from high school in Tiraspol.
- In 1997 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Transnistrian State University. T.G. Shevchenko , majoring in jurisprudence .
- From 2004 to 2009 she studied at the Faculty of Economics at the Moscow Academy of Entrepreneurship and Law (branch of Tiraspol).
Government activities
Work in the Office of the Supreme Council
From 2003 to 2012, she worked in various posts in the Supreme Council of the PMR : she went from the main specialist to the Head of the Office of the Supreme Council of the PMR, and held the following positions:
- Chief Specialist of the Office of the Supreme Council Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance
- Head of Division in the Management of the Supreme Council Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance
- Head of the Department of the Supreme Council Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance
- Deputy Chief of Staff of the Supreme Council
- Head of the Office of the Supreme Council of the PMR.
It was during this period of time that Yevgeny Shevchuk joined the team, at that time he was the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR. During the pre-election race, she was the head of the Shevchuk election headquarters.
At the Presidential Administration
After the victory of Yevgeny Shevchuk in the election of the President of the PMR of 2011 from December 30, 2011 to March 29, 2012, she held the post of plenipotentiary of the President of the PMR in the Supreme Council of the PMR. At the same time, she acted as the Head of the Administration of the President of the PMR [2] . According to the parliamentarians, she distinguished herself by a principled and tough approach to representing the interests of the head of state in the Transnistrian parliament.
Government Guide
On March 29, 2012, by decree of the President of the PMR, she was appointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the PMR for economic development and finance - Minister of Economic Development of the PMR [3] with dismissal. Its tasks included coordinating the activities of the most important administrative unit - the economic (Ministry of Finance of the PMR and the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR).
On November 28, 2013 she was appointed to the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic [4] and on the same day she was relieved of her previous position as Deputy Chairman of the PMR Government on Economic Development and Finance - Minister of Economic Development of the PMR [5] .
From December 2 to 23, 2015 - Acting Chairman of the Government of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic [6] .
On December 29, 2015, by decree of the President of PMR No. 447 “On Certain Personnel Appointments” [7], she was relieved of the post of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic . The dismissal of Maya Parnassus from her key position in the Government of Transnistria is explained by Transnistrian experts as "cleaning up" the leading cadres by Pavel Prokudin, who came to the post of prime minister and forming his own personal team.
Head of Presidential Administration
On December 30, 2015, by decree of the President of PMR No. 454 “On the appointment of the Acting Head of the Presidential Administration of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic” [8] , the acting Head of the Presidential Administration of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic .
On September 28, 2016, by decree of the President of PMR No. 399, she was appointed to the post of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic [9] .
