WrestleMania 2000 (in chronology known as WrestleMania XVI ) was the sixteenth WrestleMania in history. The show was held April 2, 2000 in Anaheim , California at Arrowhead Pond . This was the second WrestleMania held at Arrowhead Pond, and the fourth held in Southern California (after WrestleMania 2 , WrestleMania VII and WrestleMania XII ). The show was commented on by Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler . Spanish commentators Carlos Cabrera and Hugo Savinovich .

- After the match, Too Cool went out to celebrate Rikishi's victory. The San Diego Chicken also went out with them. - This is the only WrestleMania where there was no one-on-one match according to normal rules.
- Before this WrestleMania, they showed the show "WrestleMania Day-Long", which told the story of all previous WrestleMania. This is also the longest show before WrestleMania, this show lasted 8 hours.
- The logo of this WrestleMania was the first to not use the classic font that was used in all previous WrestleMania. This is also the only Logo of Wrestlemania that used the Neo Sans font.
- This is the only WrestleMania in whose name was present the year of WrestleMania.
