Story
Hiding the secret of the new habitat from his family, Ellison, the author of a bestselling series of the detective genre, moves with them to a small town, to the house where a chilling tragedy unfolded a year ago - all the residents were killed, except for the little girl who went missing. When checking in, the writer accidentally finds films in the attic of the house, which are the key to the secret of crime. The course of events has been revealed - more than one family has been killed, and each murder is associated with the previous one. Also, one child from each killed family went missing.
After viewing the film, the writer begins to look for a connection between families. While he is passionate about his searches, his son Trevor is tormented by seizures and nightmares at night, and his daughter creates drawings with missing children and murder scenes. Finding a strange sign on the wall in the film, he seeks help in order to find out what this sign means. He is told a story about the evil spirit of the times of Babylon, Bagul, which feeds on the souls of children and thereby supports its existence.
In his attic, the writer sees the ghosts of missing children and Bagul himself. Frightened, he decides to move back to his previous home. There he finds a film with the inscription "Full version". At this time, a policeman calls him and says that every killed family lived in a house where the previous family had already been killed, and having moved from the last house on the list, Allison not only accelerated Bagul's schedule, but also introduced himself there. He is reviewing the full versions of the films, where it can be seen that every family was killed and filmed by the missing children. He jumps up, but falls to the floor and faints. When he wakes up, he sees a connected family and daughter, who came out with a camera and an ax, who says to him: "Do not be afraid, daddy, I will make you famous." After which she begins to take pictures, puts the camera next to him and begins to dismember her family members. Ashley walks down the hall, filming her bloody paintings on the walls.
Next comes the film projecting onto the wall, where there are all the children watching Ashley, who is painting her murdered family. Bagul appears, the children on the film see it and run away. Bagul picks up Ashley in his arms, starts walking, and after a moment walks along the corridor on film.
At the end, another box with the name “Home Drawing” appears in a box of film strip.
