Arnar

Arnar ( Armenian арм արզադաշտ „Արնար“ ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ijevan , Armenia . The only stadium in the city used for football matches and accommodates 3,000 spectators. Near the main field there is an additional mini-field designed for training.

History

“Arnar” was built by Armenian businessman Artsruni Galumyan in 2007 [1] . A year later, the final of the Independence Cup (the official name of the Armenian Cup) in 2008 between the Ararat and Banants teams was held at the stadium [2] . Due to the reconstruction of the city stadiums in Dilijan and Gyumri , which began in 2011 .
