It starts east of the Leskhozovskaya mountain, flows along hilly terrain in the eastern direction [3] . The river valley is occupied by fir-larch forest [3] . The width of the river in the middle course is 10 meters with a depth of 0.1 meters [3] . The flow velocity of water is 1 m / s [3] . It flows into Obrucheva Bay (formerly Terpeniya Bay) of Lake Tunaicha at an altitude of 0.1 meters above sea level [3] . It flows through the Korsakovsky district of the Sakhalin region [4] .
The main tributaries are Bolotny, Warta, Omulevka (all are left) [3] .
