Description
It has five degrees. The first is awarded to the heads of state, the second to ministers and generals, the third (badge on the neckband) - colonels, lieutenant colonels and civilians equal to them by rank, the fourth (badge on chest summer with rosette) - captains and majors, the fifth (badge on breastplate tape) - junior lieutenants and lower ranks.
Cavaliers of the first two higher degrees of the order according to the statute, except for the sign of the order, are given a star. The star is gilded, ten-pointed. It is a superposition of two five-pointed stars with truncated rays. The stars each have vertical and, respectively, horizontal rays on their surface. In the center is a white medallion with the inscription "Two Niles" ("El Nilein") of blue enamel. The badge of the order is a reduced copy of the star. With the help of a round openwork pendant with the image of a rhino (Type 2 - pendant with the image of the national emblem of Sudan) it is attached to a blue ribbon with white stripes on the edges.
