Chlerogella terpsichore (lat.) - a species of solitary bees from the subfamily Halictinae (tribe Augochlorini , family Halictidae ). Endemic of Colombia (Department of Narigno , Barbacoas). Body length 8.22-8.30 mm (males are larger - 8.50-8.64 mm). The length of the front wing of the females is 5.07–5.12 mm, the length of the head is 2.35–2.36 mm (width is 1.55–1.57 mm). The length of the front wing of the males is 5.13-5.22 mm, the length of the head is 2.37-2.41 mm (width is 1.57-1.60 mm). The general coloration of the head and chest is mainly bronze or metallic green; legs and abdomen are tawny. Antennae are dark brown, except for tawny scapus and the first two segments of the flagellum. The pubescence consists of white and golden hairs [1] . The species was described in 2010 by the American entomologist Michael Angel ( Eng. Michael S. Engel ; University of Kansas , Lawrence , Kansas , USA ) and assigned them to the American genus of bee-haliktids Chlerogella Michener, 1954 [1] [2] .
