Emil Rittershausen ( German: Emil Rittershausen ; January 10, 1852 - May 6, 1927 ) is a German music master, manufacturer of flutes, one of the largest German experts in this field [1] .
He studied craft at the factory of Theobald Böhm and Karl Mendler, in 1876 he opened his own production in Berlin . He exhibited instruments at the World Exhibitions of 1893 in Chicago and 1904 in London , in 1905 he advertised his factory as "the largest production of flutes in the world" [2] . The gold flute made by Rittershausen in 1896 for Emil Prill was especially famous.
