Geographical location and environmental conditions
Located on the Priobskoye plateau , northeast of Lake Mirror .
History
The village of Travnoe was founded in 1885 by immigrants from the European part of Russia. According to the census in 1893, 448 people (218 men, 230 women) lived in 105 yards in the village of Travnoy [2] . The population was growing rapidly at the expense of arriving immigrants so that, according to the 1899 census, 1555 people (825 men and 730 women) lived in 213 yards in the village of Travnoy Borovskaya volost of the Barnaul district of Tomsk province . At this time in the village there were two manufactory shops and one drinking establishment [3] .
In 2012, the village council was abolished, the village was included in the Ostrovnovsky village council [4] .
At the moment (2019), pensioners mainly live in the village. The population is about 300 people.
